Introductory Flights

Introductory flights are available most weekends. These flights are given in our club's Schleicher Ka7 sailplane by our FAA certified pilots.

The cost of the flight is $50. The flights last approximately ten to thirty minutes depending on soaring conditions.

The East Carolina Soaring Club is a flying club operation dedicated to serving its members and introducing others to the sport of soaring. If you have questions or would like to arrange a flight you can

Guest are required to fill out a release form and make payment prior to the flight. The form can be viewed and printed by clicking HERE. We will also have forms available at the operations tent.

When you get to the airport, please do not drive onto the field. Park in the lot near the dirt road and walk out to the operations tent.

Please Note: Due to aircraft limitations the maximum personal weight is 220 lbs.
