Tow Plane

The tow plane is a club members 1970 PA-18 Piper Super Cub. It's powered by a Lycoming 180 HP engine. The Super Cub does a great job towing the Glider. On a hot summer day it takes about 4 minutes to get to a 1,500' release.

The Super Cub was repainted in the spring of 2010. She looks great in her new yellow Cub paint scheme.
